The Steps I Go Through

It's currently 4am. I'm sat in front of my computer as the printer slowly feeds out the sixth draft of This Broken World, the first episode in the All That Came After series. The completed, final draft.

I started writing this series one 5 months ago. The idea first came to me almost a year ago. And now I'm one episode down. The sense of achievement is a high I never want to come down from.

I seem to get to this stage, all too often, where I reach a point in the script and there's something I can't get right. I will put it away, forget about it, and come back to it anywhere from a few months to a few years later and wonder why I never finished it. It is a problem I have encountered in every project I have attempted before this one. Over coming this obstacle has always seemed impossible. But having the finished script sitting in front of me, it proves I can complete something.

So here it is, the first day to a new beginning. A day that will lead to so much more. A day leading to another episode.
